Conference Call: How to Start One
A conference call, or an Audio-Teleconference Call, is a simple telephone call wherein there is more than one party who may be at the receiving end of the call. At times a conference call prohibits the listeners from speaking but more often they may be allowed to participate in the call. Conference calls are a common tool used in business. This is because it cuts any costs necessary to have out-of-office meetings with associates or employees in remote areas. More importantly, conference calls are used by public corporations to announce their quarterly reports to stock analysts. However, people are also using conference calls for purposes other than business. In fact, party lines are fast becoming popular. The real question with conference call, how do you go about it?
